About Mirriam

Mirriam Seddiq has over ten years of experience in criminal defense and immigration law. A former district attorney, Ms. Seddiq has handled a variety of cases including federal felony cases. Ms. Seddiq is a member of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and the Maryland Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She is licensed to practice law in Maryland and New York.

Ms. Seddiq graduated from Albany Law School. While in law school, she was a law clerk for the appeals unit of the Albany County District Attorney’s office. She graduated with honors from Union College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.

Ms. Seddiq immigrated from Afghanistan as a child, and she is fluent in Pashto.
